Chlorhexidine Scrub 4% 5L (Hexawash)

• Chlorhexidine gluconate 40mg/ml (4% w/v) with a non-irritant detergent
• Antiseptic & disinfectant with broad spectrum antimicrobial activity (disrupts the plasma membrane of microbial cell) and sustained residual effect due to binding with skin proteins
• Contains a soaping agent so will lather up when used, facilitating debris removal

VET TIP

• Wound cleaning solution – add 40ml to 1L water and clean wounds directly; ensure any residual solution is washed off with clean water.
• Can be applied directly to intact skin and worked into a lather. For best results, allow lather to sit on skin for 5 minutes before rinsing off with clean water.
